China has several key shopping periods throughout the year:

Singles' Day (11.11) — the biggest shopping event in China on November 11. Originally a holiday for single people, it has become a massive sale event with huge discounts on major platforms like Alibaba, Taobao, and Tmall.

Chinese New Year (Spring Festival) — usually in January or February, this holiday period comes with major sales and promotions.

"618" (June 18) — a traditional sales event on platforms like JD.com and Tmall.

Major platforms' anniversaries (e.g., March 3 for Xiaomi) — some brands offer exclusive discounts around their foundation dates.

Black Friday (China's version of Black Friday) — although originally a U.S. event, many Chinese online stores now participate in late November.

April sales — discounts related to the Qingming Festival and the start of the spring shopping season.

• Counterfeits and replicas of well-known brands—for example, Nike, Adidas, Apple, Gucci, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Rolex, Chanel, L’Oréal, Huda Beauty, etc.

Weapons and Replicas

• All types of weapons: firearms, edged weapons, non-lethal/traumatic weapons, and air guns.
• Weapon accessories: stocks, silencers (suppressors), optical sights, and magazines.
• Replicas: weapon mock-ups and airsoft replicas lacking identifying markings.
• Prohibited items: brass knuckles, stilettos, telescopic batons, pepper/gas sprays, and self-defense lasers.

Hazardous Substances and Items

• Explosive, combustible, or highly flammable substances — such as gasoline, alcohol, acetone, and pyrotechnics.
• Gas-powered devices — lighters, burners, and portable camping gas canisters.

• Medications with narcotic effects or potent drugs without authorization.
• Prescription-only analgesics, sleeping aids, and antidepressants.
• Empty capsules for self-filling; medical syringes without a prescription.
• Weight-loss products, anabolic agents, and hormonal preparations lacking certification.
• Dietary supplements and vitamins without proper labeling or GMP/ISO certification.
• Products claiming analgesic, anti-aging, or anti-inflammatory effects that contain medicinal ingredients (steroids, antibiotics, etc.).

Biological Items

• Live animals, plants, and insects (including ants) — prohibited without special authorization.
• Human remains, organs, DNA samples, and biological materials.
• Seeds, unprocessed wood, moss, and soil — may pose a quarantine risk.
• Perishable goods — fresh meat, dairy products, prepared meals, and confectionery.

Valuables, Cash, and Documents

• Jewelry and precious stones — prohibited unless declared.
• Cash, bank cards, and payment instruments.
• Passports, employment record books, driver’s licenses, certificates, and permits.
• Lottery tickets, securities, and crypto wallets. Other (sensitive and prohibited items)
• Sex toys; materials with pornographic or immoral content.
• Products promoting the Russian Federation, totalitarianism, Nazism, or discrimination.
• Any items prohibited by IATA (air transport) regulations: mercury, magnets, knives, fishing hooks, unpackaged glass, etc.

The minimum chargeable weight for air shipping is 0.3 kg. The minimum cost is $4.35. The rate is $14.50 per kg.
Important: If the volumetric weight exceeds the actual weight by a factor of 1.3 or more, the following formula applies: (Volumetric weight − Actual weight) ÷ 2 + Actual weight.

In China, parcels are not consolidated; instead, they are immediately processed for shipment to Ukraine, ensuring the fastest possible delivery. The minimum chargeable weight for air shipping is 300 g ($4.35). Consolidation is available at the warehouse in Kyiv for deliveries via Nova Poshta. To combine parcels, select "Consolidation in Kyiv" when registering your tracking numbers. Once all your packages have arrived in Ukraine, click "Order delivery."

1. Go to https://www.taobao.com. The site is in Chinese, so enable automatic translation to English or Ukrainian in your browser (Google Chrome is recommended).

2. Once the automatic translation is working, click on the "Free Registration" section located at the top of the website.

Do this:

- go to your Easyxpress profile and select the "China" tab;

- copy the information from the "Address" section into the "Detailed Address" field;

- copy the information from the "Receiver Name" section into the "Recipient Name" field (only first and last name, without room number);

- copy the information from the "Mobile" section into the "Phone Number" field (without the +86 area code);

- check the box for "Set as default shipping address" and click the "Confirm" button.

1. Download the "Alipay" app from Google Play or the App Store on your mobile phone. Register using your phone number – select your country code and enter your phone number, then click "Next".

2. Accept the terms of use and enter the verification code that will be sent to you via SMS.

1. Restrictions on Air Shipping of Branded Goods

The Ukrainian customs closely monitors goods that carry trademarks listed in the Customs Register of Intellectual Property Rights (IPRR). If your parcel contains more than 2 identical items of the same brand, it may be stopped for inspection.

Allowed: Delivery of up to 2 units per item per brand — and only for personal use, not for resale.

Your parcel is considered non-commercial if:

• Up to 2 identical units of the same brand
• The shipment is not regular or repeated
• The recipient is a private individual
• The payment was not made by a company or sole proprietor
• No signs of resale (bulk, packaging, commercial invoice, etc.)

If even one of these points does not apply — customs may suspend clearance.

4. Important: Liability for Violations

Violating the rules can lead to serious consequences:

• Article 476 of the Customs Code of Ukraine – fine of 17,000 UAH + confiscation
• Article 229 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – up to 5 years of imprisonment (for systematic IP rights violations)
