What can I order from the USA?

Everything from children's toys to car parts, except for what is on the list of prohibited items. Should you have any doubts about the possibility of delivering goods from the USA to Ukraine, please contact our managers, and we will answer your questions.

What cannot be ordered from the USA? - The list of prohibited Items!

Below is the list of prohibited goods. An attempt to send anything from this can lead to criminal liability, fines and even imprisonment.

• Piercing and cutting objects, knives, including axes or tourist axes.

• Weapons, including accessories for them (cartridges, storage bags, storage cases, flashlights/weapon sights, equipment, clips, mounts); tripods/stands for weapons (can be used for military purposes); paintball weapons and accessories; moveable weapon components; military uniform and accessories; paralytic liquid cans; goods marked as “Tactical”; crossbows, bows, including for sports shooting, weapon cleaning products.

• Explosives, pyrotechnics.

• Fire extinguishers and bulletproof vests.

• Drones.

• Radioactive substances.

• Replicas (copies) of brands.

• Car parts that contain petroleum products, oils, liquids.

• Flammable or corrosive liquids.

• Live or non-live animals, seeds, plant seedlings, samples of mineral stones.

• Precious metals/gems.

• Money or stocks, bonds, checks, antiques (paintings, coins, etc.).

• Documents: letters; securities; passports; birth certificates.

• Pharmaceuticals, medicines (vitamins and dietary supplements are allowed).

• Medical equipment, any medical accessories, instruments, devices.

• Tobacco and tobacco products/accessories: hookahs; vapes; e-cigarettes.

• Drugs and drugs of any origin, CBD oil.

• Alcohol.

• Food products; perishable goods the transportation of which requires a temperature regime.

Products that are prohibited for air, but allowed for sea shipment and economy delivery:

• Goods weighing more than 30 kg, if not prohibited by the list above.

• Perfume/testers, aerosols, dispensers, mists.

• Accumulators, lithium batteries, power banks.

• Life jackets, car airbags.

• Shock absorbers.

• Corrosive and flammable substances (paints, adhesives, chemicals, flammable resins, solvents, liquids, compressed air, goods that contain any gases, alcohols, acids, lacquers, etc.).

Delivery of goods from such stores as digikey.com, mouser.com, as well as Raspberry Pi microcomputers, must be agreed in advance. To send the goods of this type, you need to provide an invoice and a bank statement, copy of your passport, photo of the bank card, statement in any form that the goods will be used only for personal purposes.

Can I order from online stores not listed in the catalog?

You can! You can choose any American or worldwide online stores.

To deliver the goods, it must be possible to pay for them and for the store to deliver them to the address of our warehouse.

A word of advice from our experts: if you are planning to make a purchase in a new store and are not sure if everything will go smoothly, contact us and we will answer all your questions.

Can I add another recipient address or send the package to another recipient directly (friend, relative, etc.)?

Yes! You can add as many recipient addresses as you like. This can be done via the Recipients menu in your Profile. To do this, you just need to click Add address and fill in all the fields. Delivery from the USA to Ukraine will be carried out to the address that you have indicated as the main one when registering the parcel. Please note that if the recipient is another person, the recipient’s information must contain their passport details and phone number, not yours. In addition, if the shipping cost has not been paid in advance, the recipient will have to pay for it at the time of delivery.

What is the minimum and maximum weight of a parcel?

There is no minimum parcel weight. You can order anything. The minimum estimated weight for shipping by air is 300 g. Thus, any parcel weighing less than that will be counted as 300 g. Anything that weighs more will be calculated at the rate of USD 8.95 per kg. The minimum cost of air delivery is USD 2.69. The minimum estimated weight for shipping by sea is 3.5 kg. Thus, any parcel weighing less than that will be counted as 3.5 kg. Anything that weighs more will be calculated at the rate of USD 4.99 per kg. The minimum shipping cost is USD 17.5.

The maximum weight of one parcel (one piece!) that can be sent by air is 30 kg (66 lb). The maximum weight of one parcel (one piece!) that can be sent by sea is 50 kg (110 lbs). The maximum permissible length of parcel packaging is

up to 1.5 m for air delivery;

up to 2 m for sea delivery.

Parcels with dimensions exceeding the above values can be sent to Ukraine as commercial cargo. Conditions and rates are agreed in advance.

How do I pay for EasyXpress services?

There are several methods:

  • Cash to the courier upon delivery
  • Cash or card at our office in Kyiv upon customer pickup
  • Online on the website in your personal account
  • Cash on delivery upon receipt at the courier company

How to register with PayPal in order to be able to pay for purchases not only with a credit card? Here is a detailed instruction.

PayPal registration, as well as sending payments, is free. In order to register on the site, you need only two things:
- a valid email, preferably on an American platform (gmail.com, yahoo.com)
- a credit card with a positive balance.
To register on PayPal, you need to go to PayPal.com and click the Register button.

You will be taken to a page where the system will first ask you to choose your country (here you have to tell the truth!), enter your email, and come up with a password.

After that you will be taken to a page where you will be prompted to enter your personal data. The form is quite simple and there should be no problems to fill it out.
All items are required.

Here you need to enter your first name, last name, date of birth (dd/mm/yyyy), indicate your citizenship and home address. Then fill in your city, region, ZIP code and phone number. Then select the checkbox that you agree to the service terms of use.

On the next page, you will be asked to enter debit card details to be used for payments via PayPal. If there are no funds on the card, at least a few dollars, it is better to postpone registration until you have some since PayPal will not be able to verify the card by blocking 1 dollar in your account.

Credit card number: enter the number shown on the front of your credit card. Without spaces. The service will determine what type of card it is.
Expiration Date: the expiration date of the card. Usually indicated on the title side of the card.
CSC: verification code (also called CVV2). These are the last 3 digits on the back of the card. If there is no number on the card, please contact your bank.

For the successful completion of registration, you need to click Add Card.

If the card was successfully authorized, or even if it was rejected, you will be asked to complete the next step: confirm your email address you indicated in the registration form.

Check your inbox in the email box you specified when registering, find an email from PayPal with the subject “Activate your new account” and click “Confirm my email address”. You will be taken to the PayPal website, where you will also need to enter the password selected when registering for confirmation.

If the link does not work, go to your PayPal account and select “Confirm your email” in the task list tab.
On the next page in Step 2, select “Click this link if the button in the email does not work” and enter the confirmation number from the email you received.

If you have not received the email, you can request the activation number again through your account.
The process of card verification is quite simple. USD 1.95 is withdrawn from your card (this money will be returned to the card or balance). You will need to find a 4-digit code in the bank statement for the transaction. It will look something like “1234PayPal – * EXPUSE”, and the first 4 digits is the code you need to enter on the PayPal website. You can find out this code through Internet banking, by calling the bank’s support service, having received a statement of card operations, or, if you have SMS banking connected, the information will immediately come as an SMS message.

After card verification, you can start shopping on sites that accept payment through PayPal, for example on eBay.

How to register on eBay?


eBay is the world’s largest auction site. The variety of goods on it will satisfy anyone, however, delivery from it is not always available to Ukraine. Many sellers ignore Ukraine because of problems with our mail service. Moreover, due to the same problems, eBay is in no hurry to create a branch in Ukraine, so in order to be able to receive most of the goods from this huge online store, you need to get an American address when registering on our website.

The registration form on eBay must be filled out in English (Latin letters). In order to get an American address, you must first register on easyXpress.com.ua.
To start registration on the website, go to the main page of eBay.com. The page will open in a new window.
Register and use this page to guide you.

Find “Sign in or register” in the upper left corner of the eBay.com main page, click Register and wait until the next page with the registration form is fully loaded.

Fill out a simple registration form, providing the site with minimal personal information. All fields MUST be filled in Latin (English) letters. All fields are required. If you want to register an account for a legal entity, click “Create a business account”.

The email address is your email, please enter it manually both times as it cannot be copied and pasted.

First and last name with a prefix EZX.

Password: you need to enter a password (at least 6 characters, use Latin letters in different cases and numbers). Do not come up with a simple password and never share it with anyone, even if you receive an email very similar to that from eBay. Scammers often use fake emails from eBay.

Click Register to confirm registration and agree to eBay’s user agreement (terms) and privacy policy.
Then eBay will offer to choose an ID and generate it itself. If you don't like the long ID, you can change it.

This completes the basic registration. You can view all products, sellers, eBay Stores and everything else without exception.
But in order to be able to place bids and purchase goods, you need to completely fill out your profile on the website, indicating the correct address of residence and at least one delivery address (for purchased goods).

In order to enter the addresses of residence and delivery, go to your account (My eBay). Log into eBay.com, select the appropriate tab and click Summary.

Now select the Account tab and then Addresses.

First you need to add the Registration Address, i.e. the address of your residence (the address you can give documentary evidence for if anything happens).
Please also add Primary Shipping Address. This is the address that will be sent to sellers when purchasing goods. You can use several delivery addresses, and they can be located in different countries.
This is how the address form looks like (only in Latin letters, in English).
And this is how EasyXpress clients fill it out. Do not forget that the apartment number must be yours, taken from the profile on the site.

Having entered any of your addresses, you may be asked for credit card details to verify your identity.

The system itself determines to whom this verification process should be applied. Enter the number on the front of the card, then select its expiration date and indicate the Card Identification Number, the last three digits on the back. Pay attention to the Cardholder Information column. It is filled with the data entered on registration, and if it does not coincide with those indicated when the card was issued, please change it by clicking Change.

An equivalent of one dollar will be blocked on the credit card account, then unlocked.
Now, for full-fledged shopping at any of the eBay branches, you just have to link your PayPal account to your account (if you already have one).
PayPal is the most popular payment method at the auction, and most transactions are carried out through it.
Select PayPal Account in My eBay.

If you don't have a PayPal account yet, click Sign up (left). If you already have one, in order to link your eBay and PayPal accounts, please click the button on the right and enter the details (the email address that was used when registering on PayPal).

How do I register on Amazon?

To become an Amazon customer, free registration is enough. It will take you 10–15 minutes. Registration will give you access to thousands of different products from America that can be purchased online. If you need clothes from America, books, toys, music CDs and, of course, e-books, this is the place for you.

Amazon has many branches in other countries besides USA. If you accidentally register with one of them, it will still give you the option to use your username and password for the US branch.
Amazon’s US branch is the most popular one.
It’s easy to register there; at the first stage, you only need your email. The registration form should be filled in in English (Latin letters).
First you need to go to the main page of the site.

At the top right of the main page, please select Your Account and click Start Here in the menu that opens, near “New customer?”.

A registration form will appear. Here you need to enter
Your name,
and password again.
After that, please click “Create your Amazon account”.

This completes the first registration stage. After that, you will be taken to the main page, from where you need to go to your account.

There you need to enter the address. Look for the Settings section and Add new address.

Here you need to specify the main address, the one that was issued to you when registering on easyXpress.com.ua.

Now all that remains is to add your credit card details.

To do this, please go back to your account and find the subsection Manage Payment options.

In the opened page, please select Add Credit/debit card.

On the next page, you will be asked to enter the billing address. Or choose the one that you have specified as the delivery address.

Practice proves that it works both ways.

If you decide to use the Ukrainian address, you must specify it in Latin letters.

The total cost of your purchase consists of:

1. The price of goods you choose.
2. American tax, if any (Sales tax or Tax).
3. Shipping costs of delivery within the USA, if any (from the seller to our warehouse).
4. The cost of delivery from the USA to Ukraine (Kyiv).
5. The cost of the guarantee service if it was chosen when registering a new parcel.
6. The cost of customs services, if necessary (according to the Customs Law of Ukraine).
7. The cost of delivery of your goods within Ukraine, if necessary (carried out by courier companies).

What bank card can be used to pay for goods in American online stores?

To pay for goods in an American online store, it is best to issue a personal VISA or MasterCard bank card. It does not matter if it is in hryvnia or a foreign currency. To increase the security, our experts recommend choosing a chip card if your bank provides such service. Moreover, we recommend you to have a separate credit card for such payments and keep only the amount allocated for shopping there.

How to check the trustworthiness of an eBay seller?

Literally everyone can be a seller on eBay, be it a brand (a legal entity) or an ordinary random man who found something in the attic and decided to sell it.

Therefore, there is always the possibility of falling for scammers. There are many fraud types on eBay. The most frequent of them are:

- You pay for the product, but it does not get sent to you.

- The item arrived does not match the description (for example, instead of a new phone you receive a used one), is of poor quality, or you have just received an empty box with no product.

- Selling fakes (when instead of a $2,000 Chanel bag comes an obvious fake worth $20 on a market day).

Naturally one would ask,how to check the seller on eBay?

eBay actually takes security very seriously. Therefore, it allows users to create seller ratings on eBay.

What should you pay attention to?

- The date of seller registration. Best if it is more than two years ago. Having a high rating means that the seller is sincere.

- The ratio of positive and negative reviews. Ideally, the rating should be between 99 and 100 percent. But if there are some negative reviews, please pay attention to when they were left. If they were left recently, it is better not to buy from this seller.

- Read reviews. If your English is not very good, use an online translator. If there are few negative reviews or only one, maybe the buyer is the problem, which also happens.

- Pay attention to the detailed seller rating (stars). How to search on eBay?

Millions of products are sold on eBay. At first glance, finding exactly what you need is simply impossible. But there are two rules, following which you will be able to use eBay search the right way.

First, you need to know exactly what you want to buy. If you don’t know that, shopping on eBay will turn into aimless wandering around the store like a maze.

Second, you need to decide on the cost.

Ready? Then you can go and look for your new purchase.

If your knowledge of English is not as great as you would like, translate your request through an online translator. The basic product search on eBay is very simple: enter a query and you get an endless stream of products relevant to it.

When are the best discounts in American stores?

January 1st. New Year Sales

How do I cancel a bid on eBay?

By participating in auctions on eBay, you automatically agree that you will not be canceling bids. But there is such an inevitable thing as the human factor and the circumstances and, fortunately, the eBay team takes such cases into account.

When is it possible to cancel a bid on eBay?

  1. Your mistake. For example, suppose you wanted to bid USD 10, but entered USD 100.
  2. A significant change of the product description. For example, you were going to buy a red bra, and after a while it turned out to be black.

Time limits

A bid can be canceled up to 12 hours before the end of the auction. In this case, all your lot bids will be canceled. Therefore, do not forget to offer a new rate for the item.

If you made a bid less than 12 hours before the end of the auction, you can only cancel it within an hour. In this case, only the last bid will be canceled.

How to cancel a purchase on eBay

Few things cannot be undone, and canceling a purchase on eBay is quite real. What if you accidentally bought something that you really did not want to buy but have not paid for your purchase yet?

How to cancel a purchase on eBay?

Unfortunately, eBay does not offer automatic cancellation. This means you cannot just click Cancel Purchase and sigh with relief. In fact, it is the seller who solves all the issues with purchase cancellation. This is who you need to refer to.

In order to cancel a deal on eBay, you need to go to the seller’s profile (the easiest way is through Purchase History) and click Contact. This will open a contact form for the seller. There you can even choose which issue you want to address.

You need to specify the item number (you can also find it in the purchase history), the title of the item, and describe the reason why you want to cancel the purchase to the seller. The reasons must be compelling (it is better not to write that you changed your mind). Then send the message.

After a while, the seller will either answer you or start a case in the so-called Resolution Center. You will immediately receive a message to your email. It will contain a link by clicking on which you agree to cancellation.

The status of the parcel will also change in your profile on our website. In the case of any delay on our part, you can contact us and we will clarify the current status of your order.

What if my package is lost?

In this case, we will do our best to find out where and under what circumstances the package was lost. If it is confirmed that the parcel was lost through our fault and provided you have chosen the Guarantee Service, we will refund you the full declared value of the goods. The Guarantee Service costs 2.99% of the declared value. Such cases are quite rare, but we still recommend you to order the Guarantee Service in advance.

All parcels are covered by insurance up to USD 60 for free.

What if the parcel goes without a tracking number?

In any case, the parcel must be registered on our website as soon as the seller sends you a confirmation that it has been sent. It is needed so that we know you are expecting a package. Upon its arrival at the warehouse, the parcel will be assigned a tracking code under which it will travel from the USA to Ukraine. You will receive a notification from us by email. In most cases, such a parcel will be automatically processed for shipment to Ukraine.

What is the content photo service?

If you need to check what is in the parcel or check the quality of the packaging or goods, this service is for you. If you choose the content photo service, our employee in the US warehouse will take 3 photos of your package and we will send them to you. Until we receive a response on further actions with the parcel, it will be stored at the warehouse in the United States. Please note that we can only provide this service for a parcel with a tracking number which you register in your personal account before it arrives at our warehouse.

What should I do if my parcel is stuck at customs?

Everyone who has ordered goods in the United States at least once knows that all goods that come to Ukraine go through the customs clearance procedure. This scares many, but there is nothing to be afraid of, unless you order something from the list of prohibited goods :)

Seriously though, you just need to learn a few basic things that will allow you to keep calm when your parcel going through the customs clearance procedure.

According to the legislation of Ukraine, goods up to EUR 150 in one flight from one sender are NOT subject to customs duty.
If the cost of the ordered goods exceeds EUR 150, you will have to pay 20% VAT on the excess amount, and if the value of the goods you ordered exceeds EUR 150, you will have to pay an additional fee of 10% of the excess amount of EUR 200 and 20% VAT of the excess amount from the calculated duty of EUR 150.

Using this formula, it is easy to calculate the approximate amount of the duty even before the parcel gets stuck at customs.

What to do to avoid complications with the customs?
- Always keep receipts, screenshots and other proof of the goods value to avoid misunderstandings. For example, if you order an expensive item, such as a tablet, and it costs you EUR 120, this may raise suspicion among customs officials, because they know how much it actually costs. But you will be able to provide evidence that the cost was exactly that and you are not fooling anyone.
- Always order the goods for an individual. If the goods are ordered in the name of a legal entity, customs clearance is treated differently.
- Do not order many of same goods. In this case, “many” means more than 6. Many identical goods can be regarded as an attempt to deliver a commercial cargo. And dealing with a commercial cargo is a completely different story.
Basically, these are the reasons why your parcel may get “stuck” at customs.

To be more brief, the reasons for delay may be:
- Exceeding the customs limit (50 kg or EUR 150).
- Prohibited items detected.
- A parcel sent to an individual is full of the same things and is suspected to be a commercial cargo.
- There are doubts that the item cost is indicated honestly.

No need to panic if your parcel is detained at customs.

You can solve the issue as follows.
- Pay the duty if you have exceeded the limit.
- Provide proof that the product is worth exactly this amount.

If you ordered a product with our help, your communication with customs would be minimal. We will only send you a receipt for duty payment. But sometimes we can ask you for documents at the request of the customs, namely:
- Passport of the consignee (scanned copy).
- Documents confirming the value of the goods (invoices, screenshots, etc.).
- Statement from the bank that indicates what amount was withdrawn.

As for timing, sometimes the parcel can be kept at customs for even more than 10 days, but this happens at peak times, for example, during the holidays. Do not worry. If there are no prohibited things in the parcel, it will be delivered to you as soon as the customs “jam” ends.

What is the check parcel service?

If you have any questions about the parcel, need to check something or check the attached invoice (if any), you can always use the check parcel service. After you select it, you will have a field for entering a comment.

In this field, please describe what exactly you want to check. Our employees in the USA will give you an answer after it is accepted at the warehouse in the USA. The package remains in stock until you tell us what to do. This service can be provided only for parcels with a tracking number, which will be registered in the personal account until they are received at the warehouse in the USA.

How to and why fill in the description for the parcel?

The description of the parcel during registration is a mandatory item. If it is not filled in, parcel registration will not be possible.
The description of the goods ordered by you must be in ukrainian or english language and as detailed as possible (you cannot just write “Shoes” or “Clothes”). To enter the description, you just need to copy the entire name of the product into the parcel description box. For example: Saucony Kineta Relay Athletic Shoes. If there are several items in the package, please give them as a list. For example: 1. Saucony Kineta Relay Athletic Shoes, 2. Converse Skate CTAS Pro Ox Skate Sneakers, or, if the product is the same, enter Saucony Kineta Relay Athletic Shoes 2 pieces
The above conditions MUST be observed in order for your parcel to leave the United States without hindrance and pass the customs inspection in Ukraine.

What is the customs clearance process for parcels?

All parcels that arrive in Ukraine must pass customs control.

The Customs Service of Ukraine is a state body that has its own laws and regulations. We must adhere to them and take them into account when ordering goods from the USA. The most important rule for today is that all parcels worth more than EUR 100 are subject to taxation.

After sending a flight with your parcel from the United States, we send a customs declaration for it to Ukraine. It is formed on the basis of the data you specified in your personal account (product type, price, weight, etc.).

PLEASE NOTE! After sending, no amendments can be made to it. If you find a mistake, please contact our hotline so that we can fix it faster together. The parcel goes through customs control based on the declared data. If the customs inspector does not have doubts about this information, the check will take several minutes and the parcel will immediately go further to you, or an appropriate duty will be charged on it depending on the value of the goods.

If the inspector has doubts about the indicated value, it will be necessary to provide all supporting documents. Always keep them until you receive the parcel.

It may also happen that the duty is not calculated correctly by the inspector. In this case, we will appeal against the charges. Please provide all the documents that we indicate in the letter to you.

If you used the Redemption service, please let us know. We will take all the data from our buyer.

Dear clients, we understand that sometimes there is a delay of a couple of days that you did not expect. We always want to deliver your parcels faster, but if the goods are still delayed, you will have to provide all the reliable information requested by the inspector. At this stage, we do not have physical access to the parcels.

On average, the delay at customs is a week (about 5 working days). The storage period for parcels at customs is 30 days. After that, they are processed to return to the United States. Therefore, we advise you to take care of the documents for the goods in advance.

What is the delivery address?

This is the address where it is most convenient for you to receive your parcel in Ukraine (except for the Autonomous Republic of Crimea).

How to choose a shipping address?

This can be done in your personal account during the registration of a new parcel. You will have several options from which you can choose the most convenient one.

What if I don't need delivery?

Keep calm :) You can still choose “Pick up from the EasyXpress office” from the list of addresses and never think about it again. All your parcels will come to our Kyiv office. You can also choose “Pickup from the EasyXpress office” as the default address, and all your unregistered parcels will come to our office in Kyiv as well.

What if I chose pickup and then want to order delivery?

If you chose “Pickup from EasyXpress office”, you can order delivery only after the parcel arrives at our office. The delivery ordering process is the same.

I want my parcels to be sent for delivery right away, what should I do?

If you want all your parcels to be sent immediately to you, then:

1. If you do not need consolidation, please select “Directly to Nova Poshta” when registering the parcel in your personal account. The invoice is generated immediately after the parcel is sent from the USA. You can pay for the order during the entire period of air delivery; if there is no payment at the time of receiving the parcel in Kyiv, cash on delivery is automatically selected (only air delivery is possible).

2. If you need consolidation, please select “Through the EasyXpress warehouse” when registering the parcel in your personal account. For the parcel to be sent from the distribution warehouse immediately after it is received in Ukraine, please pay for it before it is received in Kyiv or select cash on delivery.

Why do I need a default address?

Sometimes there is no way to register a parcel in your personal account on time, so we do it for you when the parcel arrives at the warehouse in the USA. All such packages will be sent to the address you choose as your default address.
